We loved staying in this wonderful place for our annual family vacation week, so much that we didn’t have any desire to find activities outside the property! There is so much to do there: the pool is fabulous, the many gathering places, the games and movie theater…. The beds are sooo comfortable that we all slept great.
We have been doing family vacations for many years, and our daughter said this one was the best!

Our family had a wonderful stay at this amazing home and would absolutely recommend it to anyone. The house was clean, comfortable, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Our three generations of family (plus one dog) had plenty of spaces to gather together but also made use of quiet areas to unwind. We were looking for a peaceful, relaxing vacation, and this house was the perfect spot! We enjoyed exploring local restaurants and shops, but we really spent most of our time at the house - in the pool, watching movies in the theater, playing games, and hiking. Rebecca and Michael were excellent hosts. They were friendly, responsive, and proactive with communication from booking through checkout. Check-in was seamless, and everything was exactly as expected. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Our family of five our dog had an amazing stay! The heated infinity pool was the highlight—we spent hours swimming, playing pool volleyball, making up games, and relaxing in the spa while enjoying the beautiful waterfall over the infinity edge. The kids loved the slide (me... not so much! ).The home itself was beautiful, exceptionally well maintained, and spotless—easily a 10/10 for cleanliness. We also loved spending our evenings playing air hockey, Pictionary, Chinese checkers, and poker together. The house has a special way of bringing everyone together, and we made so many great family memories.We also enjoyed hiking the nearby trail. We wandered off the path for a bit and got a little lost, but it turned into a fun family adventure we'll always remember.The downstairs central AC wasn't working during our stay, but the owners were incredibly proactive and communicative. They more than made up for it by providing a generous discount and bringing in large portable air conditioners that kept us comfortable throughout our visit.Overall, this was a fantastic stay, and we'd gladly return. Highly recommend for families looking to relax, have fun, and spend quality time together.

We returned to this beautiful house less than a month after our first visit! Everything here is wonderful: the waterfront area is exceptional, and the views are absolutely stunning. Michael took us fishing again, and it was an amazing experience. He patiently taught us how to fish, constantly supported us, and somehow managed to help and untangle lines for all five of us with a smile. We had a fantastic time and can't wait to come back!

We had one of our best vacations ever staying at this incredible home! The home is beautifully maintained and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The pool area is truly spectacular, from the hot tub and diving rocks to the pool bar, water slide, and grotto, all set against breathtaking forest views. We had a really lovely family visit. we had a rambunctious toddler with us. There were many ways to keep him entertained but the home was so beautiful I was a bit stressed out that something could get damaged. The property was so peaceful and gorgeous. Ultimately we had a fantastic time. I have traveled around the world and been to many beautiful places. My brother designs homes. This home was expertly designed and furnished. It is worth experiencing if you are willing to splurge! 😁

If you get a chance to rent this fabulous home, do it! The property is amazing and the house is extraordinary. The kitchen is completely furnished with everything you might need to for a holiday dinner and there are three different grills outside by the pool. The property is secluded with great views and there are hiking trails accessible from the backyard. This property is dog friendly with a fenced backyard. The basement has a large theater room which was amazing. We had an issue with an appliance and the owners responded immediately and worked tirelessly to ensure we were not inconvenienced. I don’t think I have ever stayed at a property where the owner worked harder to address a problem. Communication was extraordinary as the owners responded to questions immediately. In summary, if you get a chance to rent this fabulous home, do it!

This is hands down the best property in the Fredericksburg area. There are huge bedrooms with their own bathrooms. There is a huge 4 room play area in the basement where also your doggies can stay, plus there's a pool table in a huge sandbox for teens and kids under the pool. There's a movie projector, a foosball and air hockey table, tons of board games and a card table. There are bathrooms everywhere. The gorgeous backyard and the hot tub alone is reason enough to come here. Swing set in the front yard. A seven year old never had it so good. My family never wanted to leave. Furthermore, I am a chef. I stayed here over Thanksgiving and prepared a feast. There was absolutely NOTHING that was unavailable in this kitchen. Only my kitchen has more spices, and that's because I'm cooking 10 different ethnic foods in a month. There's a Walmart 10 minutes away, and a Costco for heaven's sake, 20 minutes away. You're tucked in a safe, private community perfect for learning how to breathe again. It was Thanksgiving with family, ya'll, and I've never left a place more rested and grateful. The hosts Rebecca and Mike are experts. No problems at all, in fact, I felt held and cared for. The home was even decorated for both Thanksgiving and Xmas!

This was the most beautiful property I have ever seen. From the inside to the outside, amazing and worth every penny. I have never seen such a beautiful pool, landscaping and decor in such a lovely setting. A movie theater tops off all the other fun games made available. This would be a property that I would return to. While it was only my husband, my dog and myself, a great home for families and very special occasions.

Rebecca's place is just amazing! The house is great for large family gatherings. Everyone is able to have their own space comfortably. The attention to details is impeccable. The property is just lovely all around, but the crown jewel is the outdoor area with a beautiful infinity pool. Rebecca was very responsive and checked in throughout our stay. The house is in a secluded area, so is best to plan things to do in advance.

The house is COOL, almost too cool!Parts are like a museum with curated rooms and a vast selection of displayed paintings. The artistically stylized pool is like something you might find at an exclusive high end resort- we spent most of out time in or around it. The kitchen is top notch and well stocked with appliances and just about anything you could need. Prefer to cook outside? Choose from a new Blackstone, Smoker, or 6 burner propane grill. We also had a great time playing foosball and air hockey with the kids- as well as the other adults.
