Quiet Hours: 10 PM–9 AM

Alcohol: Guest-provided alcohol is permitted subject to River Rock Villa policies. Professional alcohol service or catered alcohol arrangements require prior approval and compliance with applicable requirements.

Smoking/Vaping: No smoking or vaping inside the Villa or near doors. No smoking remnants or cigarette waste may be left on the property. Please use utmost care.

Outside Guests: Only with prior approval from River Rock Villa Hosts

Parties/Events: Not permitted

Music/Entertainment: Sonos Move speaker available. Guests/chefs should use the Sonos app and approved music services such as Spotify.

SAFETY

EMERGENCY: Seek safety first and CALL 911. Then contact River Rock Villa Hosts at 540-834-6263.

Kitchen/Fire Safety: Fire extinguishers are located under the stove and in the hall closet. Emergency location stickers are provided.

First Aid: Basic bandages are available in the powder room. Emergency information is located on the library countertop near the family room/side door.

Pool Safety: No glassware in the pool or on the terrace without prior approval. Any broken glass or other damage must be reported immediately to River Rock Villa Hosts.

River/Water Safety: Use at your own risk. Life jackets are recommended. Wear appropriate shoes and insect repellent. Return well before dark.

Children: Parental supervision is required at all times.

Wildlife/Natural Property: Wildlife is abundant throughout the property. Please dispose of food and garbage properly. Wildlife may include eagles, hawks, vultures, deer, squirrels, rabbits, opossums, raccoons, foxes, turtles, frogs, skinks and fish. Bears may occasionally be present at night. Copperhead snakes are present in the region; bites require immediate emergency medical attention.

Other: Any accident, injury, damage or unusual incident must be reported to River Rock Villa Hosts before departure.

CLEAN-UP

Chef Responsibility: Clean cooking and preparation areas, wash or properly load dishes, return equipment to its original location, remove food, dispose of waste properly, wipe appliances used and leave dining areas clean and orderly.

Damage/Equipment Issues: Report any damage or equipment issue to the hosts before departure.

FIRST-TIME CHEFS

Kitchen Orientation: Recommended for chefs visiting River Rock Villa for the first time.

Arrival/Loading: Arrange arrival and loading with the guests/hosts. Overnight stays are permitted only for registered guests.

Parking: Driveway parking only; no street parking.

Special Equipment: Available upon request when possible.

Special Requirements: Please advise River Rock Villa Hosts of any private chef booking before final acceptance so the booking, guest count and arrangements can be verified.
